I began my insurance career in 1987 with Crum and Forster Personal Insurance after graduating from Wake Forest University with a BA in Economics. I found the industry fascinating from the start, leading me to Bankers and Shippers Insurance in Burlington, where I managed the customer service department and developed personal automobile insurance products. During this time, I also earned my CPCU (Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter) designation.
In 1995, I transitioned to Professional Insurance Consultants, where I discovered my niche in the independent agency world. My passion for helping clients find the exact tools and products to make sound financial decisions led me to purchase the agency in 2008. We later rebranded to Encore Insurance Advisors in 2012 and moved to our current Burlington, NC location in 2016.
With decades of experience, I serve as a specialist in commercial and business insurance, as well as home, auto, life, disability, and Medicare coverage. I am honored to serve on the board of the Independent Insurance Agents of NC and remain dedicated to ensuring our clients have the most reliable protection available. Outside of work, I love everything outdoors—including golf, gardening, skiing, and hiking. I may not be originally from NC, but I got here as fast as I could!
